Neocon Propaganda

Gateway Pundit has a bigoted post up about Iranian women supposedly being beaten up by police for not wearing their veils. Doesn't he understand that these women freely choose to wear the veil as an expression of their faith? It's just that, sometimes, they feel an even stronger need to express that faith, and then they freely choose to get violently assaulted. If they're feeling especially pious, sometimes they even freely choose to get hanged. It continues to amaze me that anti-Muslim, pro-war, imperialist bigots like Gateway Pundit refuse to learn the truth about the freedom women enjoy under Islam.
